I've watched this movie more than a few times and cry every time. It's ridiculous!

Every soldier through out time that stepped up to fight for their country is not a idiot or a piece of 💩. Even if the ran in to combat unprepared or not skilled enough for combat or made a mistake in taking on a soldier or soldiers that were more experienced. This reaction will encourage more gen z kids to not respect soldiers. Well done.

How so many people dont get the rats part bothers me lol It has 2 sides.She saw this happening (clairvoyant) and its the rats/people in the castle. That lady not crazy. Also it was son for a son if they couldn't find Aemund. I'm team black but ive always hated Daemon lol😂

The reason the rat catcher can walk around the Red Keep unchallenged is that he does it all the time: he works there, and you've already seen him several times in the episode. The nobles just see him as interchangeable small folk, if they see him at all. This is the event known as "Blood and Cheese", after the two men who did it: the killer and the rat catcher. It was WAY more brutal in the book. In that version, they knew that Helaena (the Queen) took the children to see Alicent in the evenings, so they broke into Alicent's quarters, tied her and her maid up and gagged them. Then when Helaena arrived, they anbushed her, told her that she had to choose which of her children was to be killed, and threatened to rape her young daughter if she refused. She chose her younger son, Maelor, at which point they smiled at her, and beheaded her eldest son Jaehaerys. Then they left, with his head. Can't go into the results effects on various people without spoilers, but every bit as bad as you'd imagine.

The quality of the dialogue, the plot lines, the tension, the acting - even attention to detail in the graphics of the opening titles - all of it just tells you that this is superb, gripping stuff. So glad we get to watch it with our gorgeous Homies!

it's supposed to be a good mother Héléna that they say in the book it's really the case in the series they took some liberties didn't see caraxes in this episode I'm over it

You need to state ahead of time if you are watching the original theatrical version, or the superior versions years later that remove the narration and that tacked on happy ending.

2nds, 3rds, etc don’t work the same in this world like they do in real life. As long as you’re off the same family and you have the name, you’re considered second, third, fourth, etc of your name. King Aegon II is second of his name despite not being Aegon the Conquerors son and Aegon III is third of his name despite being Aegon II nephew and not his son

Some dark ending that was to a season premiere. The war is on!

the dog was to sniff out the rats they needed the dog to look like they were doing their job.Also in the books it was more brutal they tied alisent up and waited for helana to bring the kids to alicent then ambushed them. one told her that if she did pick which boy to kill they would grape the six year old daughter and kill them all. she picked the youngest and the killer whispered to the boy you see your mammy wanted you dead and killed the other one.

I really liked Aegon in this episode and can't wait for more. Also he is very different from Joffrey💚
